Walk Description:

There is plenty of parking off the road at Sherford bridge What Three words = overpower.bumpy.tasters

A good  winter walk because the paths are wide and gravel so although there may be some puddles they are not usually too big . There can be some mud on the last stretch which comes down through the wooded path .

Our walk takes us around the periphery of the forest, we can, if people wish, snake through some smaller paths if we wish.

We come down to the road and cross over to continue  the walk over the heathland and eventually  a small area that is more wooded before returning to the carpark.

Location Notes:

Taking the B3075 from the A35, called Chitten Hill which turns into Morden Road and leads you to Wareham Road in Sandford, the car park/layby is off the road on the left, on a bend just after Sherford Bridge, about a mile from the A35. It is advisable to reverse park off the road, to depart more easily.
