Walk Description:
This walk starts from near Ripley, crosses fields and runs by the River Nidd into Hampsthwaite. From Hampsthwaite, the walk joins the Nidderdale Way and follows the path through Hollybank Wood, then alongside the grounds of Ripley Castle. The walk takes about two hours.
Location Notes:
Meet near the Ripley village pedestrian exit from the car park (quite close to the loos!). Please note, car parking charges apply all day: up to 2 hours, £1.20; up to 3 hours, £2.00; up to 4 hours, £2.50. £1 of the fee can be redeemed in local outlets.
