Walk Description:

Our 2nd Leaden Boot Challenge training walk will cover 13 miles/21km.This walk will challenge us by the distance covered, not gradient. We will start at Hartington Station on the Tissington Trail and walk mostly on that & the High Peak Trail so that we can improve our walk speed whilst building distance.

It should take us 5.5-6 hours. Please bring suffiicient drinks and and a packed lunch, we will take a break half way round to refuel.

Paid parking at Hartington Station on the Tissington Trail. Toilets available there. Optional detour to toilets at Parsley Hay. Car share from Thorpe also an option.

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.
