Walk Description:

Join us for a Sunday 'SPECIAL EVENT' Adventure Walk at TRING PARK, 15km and there will be hills, recommended training for anyone walking Snowdon, but open to all adventure walkers ready for a strenuous and picturesque walk.

ADVENTURE pace: 5 km/3 miles p/hr

TERRAIN: Grass land, fields, woodland paths with HILLS!

DISTANCE: approx 15km

Please allow at least 4.5hrs for this walk.

Please bring a snack and a drink. We will have a short snack stop half way, please bring plenty of fluids. There are no 'facilities' en route. 

I'd advise bringing 'layers' and definately a waterproof, just in case. It's a strenuous walk but you'll need something warm to pop on when we stop and when we finish.

Car park is FREE. Unfortunately, there are no facilities in the car park as we are just outside of Tring town centre. There is a public loo in Forge car park, High street, Tring. But, I'm not sure if if open on a Sunday?

These walks will be the last Sunday of the month, distance will be a bit longer than usual Sundays (approx 12-15km). Location will vary as we explore different areas.

It is essential to register and book in advance online.

Tring Park, Woodland Trust Car Park off Hastoe Lane, just outside of Tring. As you head out of Tring, towards Hastoe, go under the A41 bridge and the car park is on the LEFT not far after. Please use the What3Words location for accuracy. FREE Parking, Height Restriction barrier, 2mtr. Sorry, no facilities.
