Walk Description:
A beautiful walk in the North West part of the New Forest. The walk starts with views over the Avon Valley, on into Godshill inclosure and comes out into the lovely village of Woodgreen.
The walk encompasses views towards Roger Penny way before returning to the woods and arriving at Woodgreen village. This New Forest village has a cricket pitch and community shop, along with a pub.
Mainly gravel paths, some mud at this time of year. One hill and some slopes.
Option for refreshments in the village after the walk. Toilets in the village at the shop or pub.
Allow time for driving in the New forest as the animals do not give way if they are on the road.
Due to proximity of heathland any dogs must be on leads.
Location Notes:
Best to access from Woodgreen village. Free parking until April. No toilets. Nearest toilets Woodgreen shop or Horse and Groom pub. Allow extra time in case of animals on the road
