Walk Description:

This very lovely walk starts from the quiet village of Sawley and crosses fields down to Fish Pond (more like a lake!), surrounded by woodland. Crossing over the pond, the route then passes Haddockstones, down Watergate Road, then returns across fields on quiet tracks back to Sawley. Slightly longer than our other regular walks, this is 5.5 miles long, and takes about two hours and a quarter.

Location Notes:

Park on the edge of the village green.
