Walk Description:
Our walk starts and finishes at Guildford Station. The route initially follows the River Wey before heading into the hills. We pick up the historic Pilgrims Way and start the gentle climb through the ancient woodland of Chantry Wood. The views start to emerge and are impressive as we reach St Mary's Church perched on the hilltop. The half way point is the village of Albury after which we return on a figure of eight route back to Guildford.

Routes are planned with breaks and the opportunity for refreshments but this isn't just a ramble; we'll encourage the good posture and motivation to push yourself as we do in all our WALX.
If you'd like to benefit from using Nordic walking poles, we advise you attend a Learn to Nordic WALX workshop. Walkers without poles or with trekking poles are very welcome.
