Walk Description:

Lace your walking boots up, step out, and let the world unfold beneath your feet.

Our Adventure WALX will venture into the beautiful areas around the Forest.  This walk is primarily on flat terrain but can be muddy on occasions. Allow 1.5 hours for the walk.  Walkers who do not wish, or are not able, to use poles are always welcome too.  This session is suited to those who are looking to improve their fitness and can walk at a minimum pace of 2 mph. 

 Walkers must bring their own poles for this activity if using them.

Feel free to bring a flask of something of your choice to have at the end of the session or there is an option to stop and have a drink at the High Lodge Cafe.

Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us in writing if you have any change to your medical records or physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, falls, knocks or accidents.

Location Notes:

Participants of these Nordic Walking sessions will receive a discounted parking rate of £4.00 This discounted rate will range from point of entry to 45 minutes after the session has ended. If you opt to remain on site after the allotted timeframe the full parking charges will apply
