Walk Description:

Golden Cap Circular Walk

A spectacular circular walk along the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, taking in some of the finest coastal scenery in the area.

The route follows the coastal path on the outward leg, with a series of ups and downs that make for a more energetic start.

As you approach the summit of Golden Cap, there are steps to the top, but the effort is well rewarded. From the highest point on the south coast, you’ll be treated to incredible panoramic views that stretch for miles along the coastline.

A truly memorable walk, perfect for those who enjoy a challenge and stunning scenery.

Please note this is a steeper route than the Sea Town approach.

This walk is part of the WALX Coast and Country weekend away tour.

Location Notes:

Go to the end car park. National Trust, remember your cards. Toilets and refreshment van available.
