Walk Description:

Golden Cap Out-and-Back Walk

A rewarding walk to the summit of Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, set within the stunning Jurassic Coast.

This out-and-back route is a steady climb from the start, gradually building as you make your way upwards. The final section is the steepest, with steps leading you to the top, but the views are well worth the effort.

Take your time at the summit to soak in the incredible coastal scenery before heading back the same way. A simple but satisfying walk, perfect for those looking for a steady challenge and unforgettable views.

This walk is part of the WALX Coast and Country weekend away tour.

Location Notes:

Go to the end car park. National Trust, remember your cards. Toilets and refreshment van available.
