Walk Description:
A faster paced Nordic Walk suitable for those wishing to increase their fitness levels. (Gear 2 with bursts of Gear 3)
A pleasant 6 mile walk from the quaint village of Tichborne.
The route follows Allan King Way towards Gander Down then loops back with the final section heading north through Tichborne park.
With a couple of steady climbs during the first half of the walk the second half is a comfortable gradual ascent.
After the walk the Tichborne Arms is always a welcoming place for refreshments by the fire.
Location Notes:
Park in the Tichborne Arms carpark of along the road in the village. We will meet at the entrance to the pub car park.
