Walk Description:
Our walk starts and finishes at St Albans Abbey Station. The route sets out from St Albans and goes through the beautiful rolling countryside of the Ver Valley and frequently follows the river. We pass through the three Burys - Childwickbury, Redbournbury and Gorhambury with the option to view some of the roman remains on our return into St Albans. The walk is on firm paths (estate drives and country lanes) and footpaths throughout so trainers advised rather than heavy walking boots.

Routes are planned with breaks and the opportunity for refreshments but this isn't just a ramble; we'll encourage the good posture and motivation to push yourself as we do in all our WALX.
