Walk Description:
Following the Nidderdale Way up to Sir Henry Wood, the walk carries on northwards, crosses Cayton Gill, loops round the site of the medieval village of Cayton, back down in the direction of Newton Hall, and rejoins the path to Ripley.
We respect people’s busy agendas and do like to start promptly. Please arrive five minutes early for your walk/session and be ready to start on time.
Location Notes:
Meet near the Ripley village pedestrian exit from the car park (quite close to the loos!). Please note, car parking charges apply all day: up to 2 hours, £1.20; up to 3 hours, £2.00; up to 4 hours, £2.50. £1 of the fee can be redeemed in local outlets.
