More Than Just a Walk At Walx Leighton Buzzard, we believe this is more than just exercise—it’s a sociable fitness experience that supports both body and mind:  Wellbeing walking for mental health and stress reduction Total body walking using Nordic poles for full-body fitness Weight loss support through consistent, enjoyable movement Building friendships and genuine social connection Group fitness with a welcoming, inclusive community Camaraderie, encouragement, and shared achievement You won’t just attend a walk… You’ll become part of a friendly, supportive fitness walking community   The Social Finish We finish back at the Three Locks public house, where many walkers stay for a well-earned drink, coffee, or bite to eat—extending the social, friendship, and community side of the experience.    Who Is This Walk For? This walk is ideal for those comfortable with Adventure Walk level Nordic walking, offering a moderate challenge with varied terrain. Perfect if you are looking to: Improve fitness and stamina Support weight loss in a sustainable, enjoyable way Enjoy group fitness in the outdoors Build friendships and social connection Be part of a sociable, wellbeing-focused walking group It may be slightly demanding for complete beginners, but ideal for those ready to progress their fitness walking journey.
