Improve your balance, build confidence and move with greater ease in our friendly and supportive Balance Workshop.

Good balance is essential for everyday life. Whether you're walking on uneven ground, climbing stairs, carrying shopping or simply wanting to feel steadier on your feet, better balance helps you stay active, independent and confident.

During this practical workshop you will:

Learn simple exercises to improve balance, stability and coordination. Develop strength in the muscles that help keep you upright and reduce the risk of falls. Discover how posture, foot placement and movement patterns affect your balance. Practise techniques you can easily continue at home. Enjoy a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere with plenty of individual guidance.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities. You do not need to be fit or have any previous experience. Exercises can be adapted to suit your current level, making it ideal whether you are looking to improve your confidence, return to activity after a setback, or simply maintain your mobility as you get older.

Location Notes:

Between the 1st March to 31st October (08.00- 20.00) East Green car park is 2.00 pounds per hour. Between the 1st November to 28th/29th February (08.00- 20.00) East Green car park is 1.20 per hour. There is free street parking on the side streets. We meet outside of the East Beach Cafe so allow time for parking.
