Walk Description:

Our walk leader, Val will be leading this special walk so that people can spend a day out Nordic walking to, and around Bradgate Park and then back to Anstey with plenty of opportunity to use our Nordic walking poles to help us up and down those hills!

It is advisable to bring a sun hat and a drink of water with you at this time of year. Also be aware that you should take care when walking through bracken due to ticks - always check yourself thoroughly

There will be time for a mid-morning break in a Newtown Linford cafe and also a stop off at the Deer Barn tearoom for lunch (you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch but they do cater for most diets).

You MUST contact Val to let her know where you will be joining her on this walk either at Anstey or at the Newtown Linford park entrance.

Bradgate Park has so much to offer so spending a day here should be a great experience and have a real holiday feel to it!
