Friday Frolickers Health Walk

The Friday Frolickers is a friendly, relaxed and sociable Health Walk, ideal if you would like to become more active without feeling that you need to be particularly fit to join in.

It’s a great starting point if you are returning to activity, building your confidence, have health concerns or would simply prefer a gentler walk. It can also help you gradually build towards longer or more vigorous walks if that is your goal.

We walk at a pace that suits the group and nobody is left behind. There is plenty of time to chat, enjoy the fresh air and get to know other walkers along the way.

Regular walking is a simple way to improve stamina, strength, balance and general wellbeing. Just as importantly, being part of a friendly group can make keeping active much more enjoyable and easier to maintain.

GETTING THE BEST VALUE

You can do an unlimited number of Health Walks for as little as £14.00 per month. This works out at £3.50 per session if you attend, on average once a week and £1.75 if you come twice a week.
