Walk Description:

Total Body WALX – Outdoor Fitness

This is much more than just a walk. It’s an outdoor fitness session designed to challenge your whole body while enjoying the fresh air and exercising with a friendly group.

Throughout the walk we incorporate a variety of exercises to work on strength, cardiovascular fitness, balance, coordination, flexibility and mobility. We also use poles to engage the upper body and help turn walking into an effective full-body workout.

Expect to get your heart rate up, challenge your muscles and feel like you’ve had a good workout! Exercises and walking sections can be adapted, so you can work at the level that challenges you.

Fitter participants will have opportunities to push themselves harder, while others can choose an appropriate level. We have plenty of ways of working with different fitness levels while still keeping everyone together.

Most importantly, we have fun. Exercising outdoors with other people makes working hard much more enjoyable and helps keep you motivated.

Perfect if you want to improve your fitness, get stronger and challenge yourself without stepping inside a gym.

GETTING THE BEST VALUE

You can do an unlimited number of walks and exercise sessions, including online classes for as little as £27 per month. This is works out at  £3.30 per session if you average attending twice a week.

 

6 WEEK PROGRAMME

If you would like to take advantage of the full membership package without the commitment of direct debit, you can sign up for the 6 week programme. You will get a 1-2-1 consultation, unlimited sessions (outdoor workouts and virtual), retail discounts and a free walk with all listed WALX clubs in the country once a month. All this for £29.00
