Walk Description:
This walk starts from the Jerusalem Farm car park turning onto Jerusalem Lane towards the rural village of Booth, a scenic hillside hamlet, in the Luddenden Valley. We proceed via Dean House Lane, with elevated countryside views overlooking the beautiful landscape towars Oatsroyd Mill before descending down the cobbles to St. Mary's Church, adjacent to the Luddenden Brook towards Goit Side. After a steep ascent up Banks House Lane we turn onto the path towards the Jerusalem Farm Nature reserve back to our starting point.
Location Notes:
FREE parking, not on a major bus route. Bus route 574 from Halifax (nearest bus stop, Booth Terrace, Luddenden). No toilets available. Bob's tearoom open on Saturdays and Sundays only.
