Walk Description:
Dobcross - Diggle - Delph circular via Castleshaw valley
Important Information
Distance: approx 7 miles
Terrain: some uneven paths, tarmac footpaths and roads. Some hills, one which is quite steep and long from Diggle.
Toilets: at Limekiln just before start of walk. Some toilets in Delph about 2/3rds into the route.
Car parking: Wool Road canal car park. Dobcross OL3 5QR. From Uppermill, go under the viaduct, over the mini roundabout, and entrance to car park is a sharp left, just before the houses on opposite side of road. You're probably better carrying on past the Navigation pub and turning round at the mini roundabout.
Food: Loading Bay or Diggle Lock, TBC nearer the time. Please contact Tina on 07876665026 by weds 14th Oct if you would like to stay for food.
If you need to borrow poles, please let Tina know when booking.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget water, waterproofs (if necessary), suncream & bugspray!

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 24hrs before a walk can be made on the Exercise Anywhere booking system. Cancellations made less than 24hrs before a walk will not be refunded and cannot be made on the system - please contact Tina either by phone or text to cancel.
Location Notes:
