Walk Description:
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle.
Today`s Walk:Today we are at Marlborough Common to Fyfield Downs and back for a longer walk of around 7.5 miles.
A slightly different route out towards Fyfield Downs and then loppoing back via Manton Gallops and the common. We will stop half way for a mid walk break.
This walk is a longer walk and is open to non-polers. If you would like to try poles please contact me in advance to arrange to borrow some of our strapless activiator poles.
Length and Grade: An 7.5 mile walk - with some undulations.
Location: Start at the rugby car park.
Notes: There are no facilites on this walk so please bring a picnic for a mid walk break where we can sit and take in the views (weather permitting). There maybe livestock which we will re-route around if we need to and maybe some mud or overgrown paths.
IF YOU ARE TRAINING FOR THE VIA FRANCIGENA WE CAN ADD AN EXTRA WALK AT END OF THIS WALK TO INCREASE THE MILES TO 12.5 MILES. SEE OTHER WALK STARTING AT 1:45PM.

Meet on common opposite the Marlborough Rugby Club. You can park at the rugby club or along the road by common.
