Walk Description:

NEW - 30 minute Gentle WELL BEING Walk we're at HOWE PARK Wood today for a change. Why not join us for a Cuppa, and maybe cake, before the walk with the earlier walkers. We'll be at the cafe approx 11am.

Not quite ready for a 1hr walk? But still want to get out and gently improve fitness? Then these NEW shorter walks are for you. No rush, time to pause and time to enjoy getting outside. These walks will be at a Well Being pace, a little slower than our regular Gentle Walks - hope you can join us.

A Gentle and safe way to walk yourself fitter! These walks use poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility (Pace approx 2 miles p/hr)

GENTLE pace: 3 km/2 miles p/hr

TERRAIN: Mostly flat tarmac or grass/woodland paths

DISTANCE: approx 2-3km

CANCELLATIONS

You are free to cancel your booking using the booking system up to the start time of the walk.

Please bear in mind that the walk leader may have already left home and may not pick up a late cancellation in a timely manner.

If you are cancelling within an hour of the walk, please try to contact the walk leader personally to let them know you are not attending.

FREE PARKING is available in the car park at the wood's main entrance, off the H7, opposite the Westcoft centre (postcode MK4 3GG) Electric car charging is also available. Cafe, picnic tables. Toilets available during cafe opening hours.
