Walk Description:

This will be a gentle social walk going past Chettle house and the long barrow. We will be going up a couple  of gentle slopes and going across a few fields. Most paths are good other than a couple of points that could be muddy if there has been a lot of rain. The Chettle Farm shop is bigger now and there is seating outside. The shop is very well stocked. They sell a variety of hot pies, pasties and sausages, plus different pastries including most importantly hot drinks. If you would like a pastie after the walk then please llet the shop know your choice before the walk., so as not to be disappointed when we finish. 

There are toilets available at the shop.

Location Notes:

Parking area for village hall just back from road. You can also park in the new Chettle Store Car Park but I use if no room at the village hall car park.
