Walk Description:

This month we will bag a trig, Wolfscote Hill, and walk alongside the Dove through the short but beautiful Beresford Dale. In between we will walk on country lanes and across fields with lovely views. We start from the village of Hartington. 

Wolfscote Hill sits at a height of 388m (1273ft) so we will have to do a steep uphill section to get there, the reward will be spectacular vistas. 4.5 miles, 2.5 hours, 233m/ 760ft of total ascent. 

Bring a drink & a snack for the walk, waterproofs. Public toilets available. Free parking Plenty of post walk cafe options too.
