Walk Description:

Starting in Hartington, during the course of this walk we will explore 3 dales, 2 of which are along the Dove, and 'bag an Ethel', Wolfscote Hill trig point at 388m (1280ft) above sea level. Walking along country lanes, fields and riverside footpaths we will cover 8 miles and a total climb of 340m (1120ft). Expect a steep climb up to the trig point, where spectacular views will be our reward. 

Bring drinks and sufficient snacks to keep you going for a 4+ hour walk. Free parking in Hartington, near the duck pond, public toilets available and plenty of options for a post walk coffee/beer.
