Following an exciting year with International launches and the granting of a patent for our unique poles, a massive increase in enquiries and visits to our HQ (which was quite remote) we decided it was time to take WALX to the High Street. We opened the first store where people can come for advice on using poles and buy their essential walking kit too. With experts on hand to help with rehabilitation or how to improve speed and performance when walking, it was busy from day one! It attracted all ages and boosted attendance to local walks too – plans for more around the UK were soon being discussed!
