 JUNE 11th – 15th DOLOMITES, ITALY

The Dolomites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of their exceptional geological beauty and when you see the beauty for yourself you will understand why. One of the world’s most stunning landscapes; rich in tradition, history, and a unique culture that mixes Austrian and Italian ancestry.

We think the Dolomites, or the ‘Dollies’ as they are affectionately known are spectacular.  This is a very special and interesting part of the world on a number of counts. Join us and enter a world of breath-taking views, of rocky spires, and towering cliff faces and be prepared to be impressed on our Italian Dolomites Nordic Walking trip.

JULY 18TH – 21st LAKE DISTRICT WEEKENDER

Sam Armstrong from WALX Derwent and Dales and Nicola Sproson from WALX Helvellyn and Ullswater invite you to join us in the Langdales in the Lake District this Summer. This iconic valley with mountains towering above you in every direction gives way to the most beautiful routes around the valley floor as well as high up on the fells. We are taking those who wish to explore the higher fells up onto the tops of mountains surrounding this glorious valley to lead you around the whole skyline during the week.  The famous Langdale Pikes, Bowfell, Pike of Blisco and maybe Crinkle Crags. The lower level routes could also include walking over Lingmoor Fell with views onto all the surrounding mountains.

SEPTEMBER 10TH – 13th SHROPSHIRE WEEKENDER

The hills, rolling farmland, woods and river valleys of this varied and special landscape are rich in geology and wildlife and ingrained with heritage. Off the beaten track and tranquil, this is a living, working place, loved by locals and visitors alike for its quality of environment, for walking, activities of all levels, relaxation and inspiration.

JANUARY 22ND AND 26TH SNOWSHOE AND SKI COMBO

Following the success of our Italian Winter Weekend in association with WALX Derwent and Dales we have designed this bespoke week long trip. A ‘combination’ of our 3 day Italian Ski Break in the stunning valley of Cogne, Italy, for beginners to cross country skiing, and our 3 day Snowshoe Long Weekend, in the world famous Chamonix Valley, with a rest day in the middle.

Both activities, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, are fabulous ways to explore a winter wonderland. A trip that gives you the chance to experience two very different locations. The Chamonix Valley in France is world famous as a mountaineering town and home to Western Europes’ highest mountain, Mont Blanc, while Cogne, in Italy is a gorgeous remote village with cobbled streets which oozes character and tradition. Two contrasting locations, each to be savoured.
