This trip is for those who love landscapes, nature, walking and locally sourced artisan foods – whether you use poles or not!

Dorset’s wild coast, chalk hills, moorland and Forests provide wonderful ingredients that have been used for centuries to produce a host of amazing foods. No wonder it has attracted innovative producers and chefs who forage, fish, bake and brew some of the best things you could ever taste!

This break will combine walking in the stunning landscapes with a chance to learn about the wild foods, get hands on with the picking and of course visit some of the best producers and eateries too!


Walks include some stunning iconic Dorset walks such as:-

  • Studland Bay and Old Harry rocks
  • Thorncombe Woods  (Birthplace of Thomas Hardy)
  • The stunning Jurassic coastal path
  • Calling in at ………...A Rustic Cider Farm – an Artisan Brewery a Dorset Vineyard and more!
  • Eating and Drinking at ………. A Dorset restaurant famed for its views, locally sourced menu and walled garden. A remote Pub revered by walkers and cyclists,  Brasseries and Cafes whose owners breed Goats, Mangolitsa Pigs and free range chickens and of course serve up the traditional Dorset Cream Teas!
  • Optional talk with the WALX nutritionist Lucie included.

Price per head £588 – single room (only 3 available) add 62.50 – Shared Twin/Double £588 – you can upgrade to this for one person for an extra £162.50  – Bed and Breakfast – option to add Evening meals – includes all walks and transport to walk start locations
