Purbeck wellness walking retreat break

A gentle break that harnesses the healing power of walking in nature. Based in the stunning Purbeck area with wild beaches, unique moorland and ancient Forests this break will leave you energised and de stressed. This is NOT a boots on and walk all day break, the walks are fairly short and we adapt according to YOUR ability. Our eco therapy and outdoor exercise experts will take you to the most beautiful tranquil (and secret) locations to help you walk yourself well. They will help you to learn how to connect with nature, walk correctly, clear your mind and enjoy our unique mix of calming walks which include the following……..

Postural walking and yoga at the iconic Blue poolour unique mix of effective walking drills and asanas that work perfectly outdoors

Nature ‘bathing’ walk on a unique RSPB reserve – Learn how to walk slowly, taking time to use your senses and harness the proven healing benefit of being amongst trees.

Walking with Alpacas – experience the calming effects of walking with these loveable animals – walk where they lead you and at their pace. Truly life changing!

Dusk walk with the mystical Nightjars – hear and hopefully see these rare Summer visitors who nest on moorland and provide a magical nightime display.

Hedgerow tea foraging walk -Enjoy an informative walk and learn how to make delicious, healthy, and revitalizing hot and cold infusions from herbs, fruits, flowers and even seaweed

Beachcomer /Rockpool ramble with optional wild swim – the simple pleasures of rockpooling and beachcombing never leave you and help you release the inner child – connecting to you with the wild and natural beach experience. This walk allows time for you to explore the pools and witness the marine life before immersing yourself in the sea (if conditions allow and you fancy it!)

During the week you will discover wild flower meadows, wild creatures and a wilder more connected you! You will also have time to yourself in the stunning rural accommodation where every room has it’s own ‘front door’ looking out onto the farm courtyards.

The restaurant serves locally sourced foods with delicious breakfasts and an option to have a three course meal or light supper if you don’t fancy exploring the local eateries. They will also serve your meal in your room.

The break includes optional nutrition workshops with our qualified Nutritional therapist, healthy meals and healthy picnic lunches.

Option to join any other walks provided by the local WALX team during your stay

Price per head form £483.50 – single room add £37.50 (only 3 available) – Shared Twin/Double £483.50 – you can book this out as a single for an extra £97.50

Bed and Breakfast (option to add Evening meals) – includes all walks and transport to walk start locations
