We are very excited at the announcement of the new walking trail in our area – The Pewsey Vale Circular Way – is just over 77 miles and follows rights of way with the Vale of Pewsey at its heart. You may have started to see the pink and orange signs pop up in places we walk!

The route starts in Ham and follows an anti clockwise direction through the vale to Bedwyn, Wootton Rivers, along the canal to Bishops Cannings then up to the plain at Upavon, to Collingbourne and back to Ham via Oxenwood.

The route encompasses and cuts across lots of our favourite walks but also offers us some new routes to try this summer.

Check out all the details at their website https://www.visitpewseyvale.co.uk/pewsey-vale-circular-walk/ where you can see more details of the routes including maps and GPX files to download to your favourite walking apps.

The look out for walks over the next few months featuring sections of these walks. We may do actual linear sections or do some circular walks taking in parts of the route.
