We know how launching a new venture can be daunting even if you have all of the passion and skills required

On a daily basis we support people who want to turn their love of walking into a meaningful business – at the right level for them

Some have already got a walking groups or a background in leading whilst others may have experience in delivering fitness or physical activity. Others may have no prior skills but are great at social media, promotion or inspiring others to be active. What we do know is that very few come to us with everything they need to be a great Instructor plus the ability to set up a programme that attracts and retains customers form the get go!

Many will also be wrestling with websites, booking software and branding (and the costs that escalate with these)

Our mission is to enhance the skills you do have and help you gain those you don’t – all whilst enjoying the learning and feeling part of a successful and supportive brand

Thats why we have introduced our first ever

4 day intensive WALX MASTER training course

Spend 4 days at the home of WALX in Dorset – complete the full Total body walking Instructor training and gain practical experience within a WALX group.

This invaluable intensive training course means you get to complete your health and safety, route planning and core skills modules with support from the onsite Tutor as well as being fully immersed into a local WALX group for that vital experience on how to set up something similar in your area

You will leave us with:

·      The ability to deliver inspirational total body walking sessions and provide advice on all types of pole walking

·      The skills to plan, risk assess and promote walks that encourage people to walk more!

·      Your unique WALX group identity including a fully branded WALX webpage, booking system and social media profile.

·      Access to wellness, yoga, rehabilitation and fitness modules when you are ready to expand your programme

·      The ability to train walk leaders and assistants to help your group thrive.

·      An unforgettable experience of joining inspirational walks and sessions with experienced Instructors at our partner locations in stunning Dorset Countryside and Coastal locations.

You will meet customers with a range of needs and fitness levels and view first hand how WALX Instructors are able to help, inspire, guide and advise them.

You will hear their stories and see how WALX can make being active outdoors a sociable, rewarding experience that keeps people coming back!

Cost £1,500 including all business tools and additional modules – payment plan available

ITINERARY

Thurs 18th January – 10 am – 5 pm – Basic total body walking Instructor skills

Friday 19th January am  – Attend Total body walking wellness and fitness sessions with experienced Instructors before returning to complete core skills, risk assessment, route planning and client health modules

Saturday 20th January – Spend the day in the busy HQ HUB as you work with the team to build your groups, based on your skills, the area you are based in, the time you want to dedicate to your WALX business and most importantly… the people you want to inspire!

Sunday 21st January – Join us on Explorer  walk where the focus is on delivering a sociable walk with views and an unforgettable experience

Finish with a celebratory Pub lunch as you gain your certificate and leave us with a host of new skills.
