WALX Easter Ross

I run Nordic Walking and WALX sessions in the Alness/Evanton region for a variety of fitness levels.
Our walks are COVID-secure outdoor group sessions and are so much more than a ‘walk in the park’. There are classes for all abilities, including Wellness WALX for those seeking caring and gentle exercise through to Total Body WALX for those wanting to be pushed harder.
I can provide walking poles and our classes are approximately 90minutes long. They are located in easily accessible areas with good parking facilities.
We always finish a class with tea and coffee (plus optional cake) and a chat.

Ruth Jones

Walx with Ruth Jones is a friendly and sociable walking club with walks in Bromley, Sevenoaks and Shoreham, Kent.

 

We walk in local parks, woodland and fields to enjoy the beauty of the open spaces around us, connect with nature, maybe hug a tree or two.

 

There are a variety of walks for all abilities including a Yoga and Wellbeing Walx to recharge our batteries as well as longer day walks.

WALX 4 Rivers run walks in Hertford and the surrounding areas.  Whether you’re wanting to start your fitness journey, train for an event or looking to make new friends, rest assured you’ll find walks to suit your needs!

We offer a variety of walks from the gentle-paced Wellness WALX to Total Body WALX for those wanting to push themselves.  For those who simply enjoy being outdoors and having a chat along the way we have 2-3 hour Explorer WALX and Nordic WALX (that usually include a trip to a cafe or pub at the end!)

Thanks for visiting my page and for your interest in Nordic Walking!
Nordic Walking is a great way to keep fit and mobile outdoors. Burn more calories than regular walking or rambling, exercise outdoors, tone your body, get a total body workout, have fun and meet like minded people and improve not only your physical health but your mental health as well. If you like the sound of that and want to  be part of one of the fastest growing exercise activities in the UK then Nordic Walking could be what you’re looking for!!

Come and try our 90 minute induction sessions called Power of the Poles (POP). Once completed you can join our regular weekly walks either on a pay as you go basis or via a monthly direct debit.

Dorset WALX Festival

The DORSET WALX FESTIVAL is 4 DAYS OF WALKING ACROSS DORSET with local knowledgeable qualified guides 17th – 20th September 2026 – With a low cost pass per day you can choose to select one of our iconic longer routes each day or perhaps a couple of shorter ones.  Historic, culinary, geology, foraging and even cider farm experiences will be available daily and of course, we will have NEW walks for those who have joined us before…. all in stunning scenery . There is also a 16 mile challenge HIKE, some workshops and a social supper at an exclusive exquisite location on the Saturday!

Walks  will open for booking in June for those who have selected day passes.

WALX VerValley is an outdoor exercise club with Nordic walking at its heart. Based in St Albans we deliver a varied programme of Nordic and Explorer WALX alongside the Total Body WALX workouts and the more gentle intensity Wellness and Yoga WALX. We want to offer something to suit everyone, of all ages, and for all abilities, whether its personal weight loss or fitness goals, we are here to help you achieve those goals.
At WALX Ver Valley we share our love of the outdoors to create a fun walking group who are passionate about being active and who enjoy exploring new pathways around the beautiful St. Albans and Hertfordshire countryside.

WALX in the Marches is based at the heart of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which provides our stunning gym without walls here and beyond in the English Marches.  We have regular walks and sessions in both our base area and at Attingham Park (National Trust).  Led by Beverley Turner, WALX in the Marches began life in 2016 as Shropshire Hills Nordic Walking, bringing regular Nordic Walking training and group walks to this renowned walking area.

Alice Holt Forest Nordic Walking

Alice Holt Forest Nordic Walking is a friendly and welcoming group who enjoy exercising outdoors and in the beautiful surroundings of the Forest.  Walks are led by a team of Forestry England volunteers.   Our walks are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.  We offer gentle to workout walks, which are a great way to improve fitness and tone the whole body.

Bringing exercise WALX to Northamptonshire.

WALX Heart of The Shires is a friendly walking club, with skilled Exercise Instructors and Guides who are passionate about walking and outdoor exercise.

Our aim is to encourage and motivate all ages to stay active and improve fitness whilst enjoying the great outdoors, here in beautiful Northamptonshire.

With classes 6 days a week, we mainly use Nordic Walking to improve cardio-vascular fitness, strength, balance, flexibility and co-ordination, however we also have many sessions suitable for non pole walkers too. WALX Iceni is based near Swaffham and runs sessions in the surrounding area and at High Lodge, Thetford Forest too.

A variety of walks are available as well as the Power of the Poles Introductory Session which will equip you with the skills to start your Nordic Walk journey. Some of the walks require the use of poles, others do not so there is something to suit everyone. The aim is to encourage, motivate and support you on a journey to better health, fitness and wellbeing whilst walking for results.
