With a passion for the outdoors and hillwalking, Anne’s journey into walking with poles started with completing the Power of Poles workshop in 2021 with Janneke at White Peak Nordic Walking.
Thereafter Anne joined many of Janneke’s walks and in 2022 went one step further to support Janneke’s group walks by training and qualifying as a Walk Leader and has been leading walks with her to present day.
With the formation of WALX White Peak, Anne has also now completed her WALX Total Body Walking Instructor training and is excited to share her enthusiasm for walking with poles and the benefits of being outdoors in a group.
“You’ll never regret going for a walk, no matter how much you didn’t feel like doing it beforehand.”
As WALX White Peak are based in the Peak District National Park, there will be occasions where our Instructor’s will lead walkers into fairly remote areas. Accordingly, Anne has completed a two day ‘First Aid for the Outdoors Course,’ (recommended for outdoor mountain leaders).
