Walk Description:

The South Downs Way is split into a series of eight linear walks. Each walk will be about 12 miles of strenuous, hilly chalk downland paths and lanes, woodland and stunning coastal views. 

You will need sturdy hike boots or shoes and to carry enough food and water for a full day’s walking.  There are not always stopping points for food and drink along the way, but we will visit hostelries along the route. Please prepare for all weather conditions (sun, rain, wind) as much of the route is quite exposed.

I will arrange transport back to where your car is parked, for which there may be an additional charge.

For online classes you must ensure that you have a clear area to train (Approx 2m Square).

You must dress appropriately for the session.

You must ensure that your emergency contact details are up to date in your profile. 

You will need a mat for floor exercises, a tea towel for strength exercises and a place where you can do press ups such as a kitchen work surface.  If you have access to a fitness band that would be useful too.

If the class is billed as a Gymstick/Pro X Walker/Isobow owners class you MUST have these items.

Free WALX of Wellbeing – Crayford Library Walk 

Short description

WALX of Wellbeing are free walks led by qualified volunteer walk leaders, previously known as Walking for Health Walks these are a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the green spaces and make new friends.

Walk Description:

A mid week longer walk with NNW Walk Leader, Becky Sewell.  Lots of choices to mix up these walks so each week you see something different.  From the Marriott’s Way to Reepham or out along small tracks and the tiny secret Catchback Lane....

 Come and enjoy walking in the local countryside, take in the views, fresh air and company of the group, whilst being active outdoors.  Lovely cafe so we can enjoy coffee afterwards in the sunshine (we hope!)

Moderate / fast pace - must be able to walk consistently at steady 3.3mph pace
