Description of the Walk: From the car park the WALX Guide will lead you through the park, around the lake and into the beautifully cared for English Garden. Approximately 1.5-2.0 miles. There is a footpath that is suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters.

This easy walk will take you along the River Seven to the Weir and back along the other side stopping at the Dingle Gardens, where we will enjoy the seasonal planting, water feature, wild life and with luck the resident Heron.

A moderate-paced walk WALX in Kedleston`s glorious parkland, set around hundreds of acres of green sward and lakes, with tinkering waterfalls where wildfowl are in plenty. Kedleston Park is perfectly designed for enjoyable walking, be it on one of the graded woodland walks or beside attractive lakes made by damming Cutler Brook.

We may incorporate some balance work, flexibility and stretching exercises at the end of the walk and maybe a bit of yoga or relaxation too.

Join this friendly mixed ability group. Many members prefer to walk with poles as they find it is more effective than ordinary walking .(When poles are used we are able to engage the upper body, core muscles, improve posture, help balance and burn more calories)
These walks will be ideal for anyone recovering from Covid or other health conditions and those walkers who want a gentle return to fitness levels.

Not quite ready for a 1hr walk? But still want to get out and gently improve fitness? Then these NEW shorter walks are for you. No rush, time to pause and time to enjoy getting outside.
A Gentle and safe way to walk yourself fitter! These walks use poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility (Pace approx 2 miles p/hr)
GENTLE pace: 3 km/2 miles p/hr
TERRAIN: Mostly flat tarmac or grass paths
