A hidden gem of a park with numerous grassy paths and trails - perfect for summer walking in good company. If you are looking for an hour of ‘feel good’ exercise in a spectacular location, this is the walk for you. You will feel energised whatever the weather in this lovely place…abundant in colourful wildflowers at this time of the year!

Ideal for those with concerns about either distance, pace, rehabilitation or certain medical conditions. These gentle walks will be just what you need to build up your confidence and improve your health. Balance, co-ordination and strength exercises will be incorporated.

A mixed-terrain walk in the area around the stunning Elizabethan Manor House at Wilderhope, through pastureland, woodland, quiet lanes and tracks. There is an option to do a shortened version of the walk, stopping after the first hour.

Adventure WALX are simply sociable walks in a mixed ability group, with poles, or without, and enjoying varied locations in and around South Shropshire and beyond. Most routes are circular and will try to make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

Our Easy Thursday morning walks are a great way to practice your technique and take a gentle approach to improving your technique. Great for those new to nordic walking or those looking for an easier walk level.

Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.

Note: To participate in regular Nordic WALX, you must have completed our Nordic Freedom Course.

Please note walkers must observe social distancing following government guidelines for COVD-19, and keep at least one metre plus apart. Masks are not required - although you may want to bring one if we are entering a cafe, shop or toilet facility.
