 These walks take you any where and everywhere. The main focus of these walks are to explore the area, including open countryside, Nature Reserves, Canals and Parks and Gardens .

Depending on the route will depend on the terrain we will be walking over,  which may include some styles and rough ground 

The walks will vary each week and are lead either by an instructor or a walk leader.

Please be aware on this walk as it goes through some woodland the terrain in places can be quite narrow and the path in places  has exposed roots making it tricky in places   

The good news is there are no stiles !!!

Walk Description:

In this session we work on helping you to get strong legs, upper body strength, ankle strength, hip stability, balaance, agility all whilst having a great laugh.

You will be working hard but at appropriate level for your ability.

Everyone is supportive and youwill be made very welcome.

YOU DO NOT NEED POLES IF YOU ARE NOT A NORDIC WALKER.

You will part your car at the Ewe and Lamb then make your way over to the field opposite The Hanbury Turn Pub.

Please be at the field by 9.25am ready for the warm up.

ONLINE CLASSES

For online classes you must ensure that you have a clear area to train (Approx 2m Square).

You must dress appropriately for the session.

You must ensure that your emergency contact details are up to date in your profile. 

You will need a mat for floor exercises, a tea towel for strength exercises and a place where you can do press ups such as a kitchen work surface.  If you have access to a fitness band that would be useful too.

If the class is billed as a Gymstick/Pro X Walker/Isobow owners class you MUST have these items.

INDOOR CLASSES 

Bring a mat and clothing suitable for indoor fitness.

OUTDOOR CLASSES

You must be fit and healthy enoygh to take part in sessions outside on grass and other surfaces.

Enjoy sociable Nordic walking at an easy gentle pace.

Delivered in partnership with THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL, these gentle paced easy adventure walks are designed for people who haven’t exercise for a while, and those who are recovering from, or living with, illness or injury.  

Mostly gear 1 with some gear 2 where appropriate over mixed terrain and lasting 90 minutes.

Covering approximately 3-4 miles

Walk Description:

Beautiful rural, circular walk taking in stunning views, across to Wales on a clear day, lovely clear air, out along the golf course through hobbit country. Terrain is partial Woods so slightly uneven ground,. Fairly flat walk Unfortunately no guaranteed loos - We used to be able to use Pipley Cafe but not always open now post pandemic so best to try go before you come or else it may be behind a bush!! Other than that it would be the Hare and Hounds where we go for coffee afterwards. walk so it may be bushes, though we stop for coffee afterwards at the Hare and Hounds for refreshment afterwards and of course an opportunity to use the facilities. Pacey Gear 1 and options for Gear 2 and 3 for those who wish to challenge themselves a bit more.Parking can be tricky, during COVID parking more restricted. If no parking available in the spot we normally use then just along on the main road there is parking but just a tiny bit more of a walk to meet point.
