WALX of Wellbeing are free walks led by qualified volunteer walk leaders, previously known as Walking for Health Walks these are a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the green spaces and make new friends.

Toilet and Cafe: Yes, there is a toilet - No café, please bring your own refreshments as there are benches to sit at and enjoy a get together after the walk.

Description of the Walk: From the car park the WALX Guide will take you through the beautiful ever-changing woodland. The walk can be muddy when wet and in the winter months, please be prepared with good footwear for this walk. Approximately 1.5-2 miles.

A 5.5 mile almost flat walk with plenty of variety. There are four roads to cross and an urban section on

pavements. We walk around Longham Lakes with its varied bird life. Bring binoculars if you want.

There is an otter which frequents this area for fish.

Please park at The Angel pub and feel welcome to come in with us for coffee after.
