Walk Description:

An early morning wake up walk around Badbury rings - one of the ancient hill forts between  Wimborne and Blandford which offers spectacular views. In the winter we will see the sunrise, in the spring we will hear the birdsong, in summer we can smell cut grass, and in Autumn we can taste Natures picnic. No walk is the same and you can walk at your pace. 

No stiles on this walk but there can be livestock - well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept under control. Some slippery paths during wet weather.

 These walks take you any where and everywhere. The main focus of these walks are to explore the area, including open countryside, Nature Reserves, Canals and Parks and Gardens .

Depending on the route will depend on the terrain we will be walking over,  which may include some styles and rough ground 

The walks will vary each week and are lead either by an instructor or a walk leader.

Please be aware on this walk as it goes through some woodland the terrain in places can be quite narrow and the path in places  has exposed roots making it tricky in places

Short description

WALX of Wellbeing are free walks led by qualified volunteer walk leaders, previously known as Walking for Health Walks these are a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the green spaces and make new friends.

Description of the walk: Meeting outside the main doors at Crayford Library, the walk will be one of 3 routes depending on the weather. Walks will include Hall Place, Dartford Heath or the River Cray. The walk may be muddy if the weather has been wet. Approximately 1.5 - 3 miles

No poles are required on the walk but you are welcome to use them if you prefer.

For online classes you must ensure that you have a clear area to train (Approx 2m Square).

You must dress appropriately for the session.

You must ensure that your emergency contact details are up to date in your profile. 

You will need a mat for floor exercises, a tea towel for strength exercises and a place where you can do press ups such as a kitchen work surface.  If you have access to a fitness band that would be useful too.

If the class is billed as a Gymstick/Pro X Walker/Isobow owners class you MUST have these items.
