We walk over all terrains across the Warwickshire Countryside giving you the opportunity to walk  off the beaten track with the  group. On these walks expect hills, walking  across farmland,  and through woods.

These walks are social with minimal short breaks along the way.   

These walks are a circular route    

Our ‘Themed Walks’ are longer walks, these  walks may not be circular so please check before booking. 

The level of fitness for these walks is approx. 5km per hour.

 Come along and give WALX a go. Your qualified Instructor will guide you through how to get the MOST out of every step you take! Great for beginners and experienced WALXers alike.  Everyone is welcome on this  wellness walk with or without poles.

 

Learn how to WALK WELL, harnessing the power of good posture, your core muscles and the perfect stride.  

 

Experience how PACE and HILLS can be empowering and how working on balance, flexibility and strength can make walking twice as effective... whatever you are aiming to achieve .

  Try out some poles, try other ways to boost strength, help with weight loss and make walking WORK for you!

 

Join this friendly mixed ability group. Many members prefer to walk with poles as they find it is more effective than ordinary walking .(When poles are used we are able to engage the upper body, core muscles, improve posture, help balance  and burn more calories)

 

These walks will be ideal for anyone recovering from Covid or other health conditions and those walkers who want a gentle return to  fitness levels.

 Join us for a 5.5 mile walk along the lovely River Wharfe in Wharfedale. 

Following paths along the river towards the famous Strid waterfall, crossing over the river at the elaborate Barden aqueduct, once we get down to the Abbey, cross the river either by stepping stones or the bridge, before looking round the Abbey and Priory.
