Part of the former Hatfield Aerodrome Ellenbrook Fields is a series of linking permissive footpaths, suitable for walkers and cyclists that have been created through the areas of open grassland,with grazing cattle, and meadows with some woodland.
In 1998 the park was used as part of the set for filming 'Saving Private Ryan'.
This is a moderate paced walk covering approx. 6 miles
Please follow social distancing guidelines and keep 2m apart and be aware of other walkers in the area.
It is advisable to carry a face mask and hand sanitizer.
If you feel unwell between the time of booking the walk and attending please err on the side of caution and cancel.
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills.

Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.
Note: To participate in regular Nordic WALX, you must have completed our Nordic Freedom Course.

This is a moderate to fast paced walk allowing you to challenge yourself at your own fitness level. It takes in historic Woolton Woods and Camp Hill with stunning views across to North Wales. After a warm up and technique practise, we will concentrate on hill technique. The aim of this session is to have an exhilarating workout which will leave you feeling positive and enlivened.

Chi Ball is a mixture of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates. The Tai Chi and Dance section is in standing and the Yoga, Pilates and Relaxation is on a mat.
The sequences change with the seasons concentrating on different areas of the body.
Chi Ball - Spring Sequence
The focus for Spring is on cultivating the rising energy of the season for growth, creativity and change. The emphasis is on the graceful, grounding and energising movements of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
A Spring ChiBall class aims to move Chi, clearing away stagnation and stress, leaving participants feeling refreshed and energised.
A chi ball is used but a toilet roll or small pilates/yoga ball is ok to use. If you want to invest in a chi ball then I can send you the details of where to get one from.
