For those of you who have completed the Learn to Nordic walk course- these action packed walks are designed to help you improve your fitness levels and gain FAST results. Your qualified instructor will add motivating drills and exercises into a fast paced fun walk. Enjoy sociable Nordic walking in stunning locations with a mixed ability group. Lead by accredited instructors or walk leaders, these walks make the most of our beautiful coastal countryside and are a relaxing way to enjoy being active outdoors.
Pig on the Hill
This walk along the North Devon coast includes a section of the South West Coast National Trail. The route follows paths and lanes enjoying spectacular views along the Atlantic coastline accompanied by possible sightings of porpoise and seals. We start and finish at the meeting point where a warm and cosy atmosphere awaits our return.

Description of the walk: Meeting outside the main doors at Crayford Library, the walk will be one of 3 routes depending on the weather. Walks will include Hall Place, Dartford Heath or the River Cray. The walk may be muddy if the weather has been wet. Approximately 1.5 - 3 miles No poles are required on the walk but you are welcome to use them if you prefer.

This walk has become affectionately know as our 'Cake Walk', as we stop at the end of the exursions to indulge in a wonderful cake at Trevithick Farms and Trays.

These 2 walks warm up together and then take different routes according to your ability.
Referral WALX
A comfortably paced walk in the Gardens for you to enjoy in a social atmosphere. The qualified Exercise Referral Instructor will lead you through a warm up, a short walk making stops along the way if needed and finish with a stretch. Exercise bands are often used within the walk to rest the legs, improve strength in the upper body and work on posture.
We join all Wednesday walkers after the walk for a cuppa in the park if the weather is dry.
Total Body WALX
A gentle paced walk for 45 minutes with a WALX Guide around the lake, joining all Wednesday walkers for a cuppa in the park if the weather is dry.
You can book this session without the Power of Poles training, join us walking with no poles or borrow a set from us and feel the ‘Power of Poles’.
Power of Poles training is available in Bexley.
Poles are provided.

Description of the Walk: From the car park the WALX Guide will take you through the beautiful ever-changing woodland. The walk can be muddy when wet and in the winter months, please be prepared with good footwear for this walk. Approximately 1.5-2 miles.
