Duration – 1 ½ hours, walk grade 3.5. The Regular Walk is a social way to get fit and stay fit. It`s aimed at walkers that can maintain a pace of 3.5 mph. After a warm up we will set off together and those that wish to walk fast can go ahead and at certain points we will gather together. This is achieved by those walking ahead will, at certain points or times, double back to the rear of the group or remaining at a pre-determined rendezvous point and practicing drills or other gentle exercises to keep warm and active.

Enjoy a walk from the Manor Pub, Glen Parva over the ford bridge and into Blaby completing a circuit taking in the woodlands and Bouskell Park and then onto the playing fields and old Blaby before returning via Eko-Joe's for a cuppa.

Higher Impact Fitness Stamina and endurance
Want to take your fitness and strength to the next level? This is the one for you!! This instructor led session will improve your muscular strength, resistance, endurance.
It is a full body intense workout. Exercises are differentiated to suit your level of fitness.
Bands are used for resistance work and smoveys will improve your cardio.
Hill drills and interval training will be embedded into the session when we are at Newbold Comyn or Burton Dassett.
This is a moderate demanding instructor lead session

Explore - woodland, hills and meadows, all part of these most enjoyable walks.
This walk is for those who can walk 5-6 km in an hour and is moderate pace. Please do get in touch if you wish to ascertain your suitability.

Pace one
A 2k to 3k gentle WALX that incorporates balance work, flexibility and strength exercises and maybe a bit of yoga or relaxation too. On Monday these walks take place around Stanmore and Harrow Weald on mainly flat terrain but we do go on trails through the woods so that we can enjoy the changes in nature throughout the year. This is a very friendly group and we are always ready to welcome new walkers who want to get back into exercise in a safe and gradual way.
Starting in April 2025 there is also the option to sign up for the 6 week Total Body Walking Programme in the beautiful Canons Park in Stanmore which is being supported by TfL and Friends of Canons Park. This programme runs on Tuesdays and Sundays at 11am.
