A comfortably paced walk for you to enjoy in a social atmosphere, during the walk providing if the weather is fine and you would like to participate, we will stop for a 20 minute session of Chi Ball - A mixture of Tai Chi and Yoga from the seasons sequence. The wellbeing walk is suitable for those who have completed the Power of Poles Introductory course/Learn to Nordic walk course and/or haven`t attended a class for a while.
This walk is also suitable for anyone coming back from an injury/illness or has medical conditions that prevent them from walking at a faster pace.
By regularly attending, you will be able to focus on increasing the intensity of your walking as fitness levels improve.

These sessions deliver exercises to improve mobility, strength, balance and coordination. Your overall fitness including your cardio output will improve, It is a whole body workout helping you feel more energised, Using smoveys will support your upper body and core strength and increase your heartrate.
As we work in a group everyone can work within their limits. There will be plenty of opportunity to rest and all the exercises are differentiated to suit you. We use out poles to improve our core strength, balance and upper body range of movement.
