Strollers Health Walk
The Strollers Health Walk is a friendly, relaxed and highly social walk designed for anyone who would like to become more active, improve their fitness or simply enjoy walking with a supportive group.
This is our gentler-paced option, making it a great starting point if you haven’t exercised for a while, are building your confidence, have health concerns or would like to gradually work towards longer or more vigorous walks.
We walk at a pace that suits the group and nobody is left behind. There is plenty of time to chat, enjoy the fresh air and get to know other walkers.
Regular walking can help improve stamina, strength, balance and general wellbeing, and even a relatively gentle walk can be a valuable step towards becoming more active.
If you are already comfortable walking at a slightly stronger pace, our Striders Health Walk may be more suitable. The Striders leave at 10.15am.
Most importantly, this is a welcoming and sociable session. Come along, enjoy some fresh air, meet new people and take a positive step towards keeping active.

Striders Health Walk
The Striders Health Walk is a friendly, sociable session for those who are comfortable walking at a slightly stronger pace and would like to improve or maintain their fitness.
It’s a great option if you are building towards longer or more vigorous walks, want to increase your stamina or simply enjoy getting outside for some regular exercise with good company.
We walk as a group and nobody is left behind. The aim is to keep moving at a purposeful but manageable pace while still having plenty of opportunity to chat and enjoy the walk.
Regular walking can help improve stamina, strength, balance and general wellbeing, while being part of a friendly group can provide that extra motivation to keep active.
If you feel the Striders might be a little too fast for you at the moment, our Strollers Health Walk leaves at 10am and offers a gentler pace. This gives you the choice of two groups and the opportunity to progress when you feel ready.
A fun, supportive and social way to keep active and enjoy the benefits of walking.
