These WALX make every step count! Total Body walking™ is a unique mix of drills and strength exercises that work on all aspects of fitness and make the most of being outdoors!
A faster-paced 1-hour session using hill climbs, bodyweight exercises, bursts of speed and small pieces of equipment eg. resistance bands to build stamina, burn calories and tone the body.
These sessions are suitable for those who are looking to improve their overall fitness. Please contact me to have a chat if you are unsure if this session is suitable for you.
Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.
Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us if you have any change to your physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, injuries or accidents.

This is a friendly and popular Nordic walking Group for those who have completed a Power of Poles induction course. We explore the forest trails, meres and hills in Delamere Forest and cover 4-5km (3.5 - 4 miles) in the hour.

These walks are a great opportunity to exercise and meet and chat to other walkers. They are of moderate pace with the opportunity should you wish to push yourself a little further. You will walk with a qualified walk leader or master. These walks start at different locations to give you the enjoyment of walking in the surrounding countryside of your local area.
These walks are often lead by qualified walk leaders and can be from an hour to 3 hours long. It is a moderate paced walk with a few stops. An hours social walk naturally tends to be at a quick pace than the 90+ minutes.

Meet at the Car Park across the road from Rumbling Bridge Nursing Home. This walk is just under 5 miles over varied terrain, can be quite rough in places, but mostly on track and some single-track road. Good supportive walking footwear is important so walking shoes, sturdy trainers or walking boots are all fine.
Bring a drink and a snack if required.
